The first version of this template was built in Webflow, which is an advanced website builder.

Unfortunately, with great power comes great responsibility, and the most common feedback we received was that Webflow was extremely difficult to use.

This new template takes the design language from the first version and improves on them. It’s also MUCH easier to customize since it’s built in Squarespace 7.1.

It also includes new features such as a built-in blog, integrated video portfolio and native discovery form.

It also includes video guides and tutorials so you can get up and running quickly.

If your website is already set up on Webflow, and you’re happy with how things are, then leave it be.

However, if you prefer a website platform that is super easy to use and customize, then I would recommend switching to Squarespace. Squarespace is probably 10x easier to use than Webflow. That means means you’re more likely to keep your site updated, which will help your SEO long-term.

In 2023, the website platform you choose matters MUCH less than it used to. Way more important factors include your content, keyword strategy, topical authority, backlinks and EEAT.

There’s a great video on this topic from Paige Brunton. She switched from Squarespace to Wordpress in an attempt to increase her SEO. However, what she found was that her rankings stayed more or less the same, but using Wordpress was much more of a headache compared to Squaresepace… so she switched back to Squarespace.

You can completely customize all colors, fonts, logos, images, videos and layouts.

This allows you to customize the design to match your brand’s unique personality and style, even if you’re a complete beginner to design.

Although initially tailored for video agencies, this template is versatile and can be adapted to suit various types of businesses. Its complete customization capability enables you to adjust the design according to your specific requirements.

Adding new videos to the portfolio is super simple!

1. Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link. Using this method you can add virtually unlimited videos to your portfolio. *Note: Vimeo is a paid service, so I’d recommend YouTube instead.*

2. Upload directly to Squarespace. This is the easiest option, but most Squarespace plans only allow up to 30 minutes of content. I would use this only for your most important videos (ie. brand story videos)

Not a problem! You can have multiple sites within one Squarespace account. The template will come in as a new website and be separate from your existing sites.

Then, you will just need to transfer any existing website content you want manually into the new template.

When you’re ready to launch, just transfer your domain from your current site to your new site (instructions are included in the ‘Launch’ section of our documentation).
